 At Bywater Design, our passion for wood, our love of trees happily combines into designing and making custom furniture for our wonderful clients.  For over 25 years we have been creating beautiful furniture, restoring antiques as well as sharing our skills with our woodworking classes which began in 2003.

We use Paulownia as our standard rail and skin materials and plywood as our internal frame

Paulownia has many great attributes, Its light, has great water resistant properties and easy to work.  

But we have used many great timbers QLD Maple, Silky oak, Bass, Western Red cedar, Syrian cedar, if interested in using one of these timbers prior notice is required and prices will change.
